KPTM STUDENTS JOIN PRE-RELEASE IPMA STUDENT TO OVERSEAS WITH MINISTER OF KKLW

KOTA BHARU BRANCH SIGNING MOU WITH UMK

CROSS, March 17, 2013 - College of Poly-Tech MARA (KPTM) once again create success in network education with the signing of the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) recently.
Poly-Tech MARA College Campus Kota Bharu expressed a desire to network collaboration through several discussions with the Faculty of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan through Agro-based Industry (FIAT) and the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Business (FKP).
Among the contents of this collaboration is to offer programs feeder MoHE Diploma students into Bachelor Degree programs especially for Hospitality and Applied Science. In order to improve the skills, staff and student mobility programs will be held for the exchange of expertise and experience in their respective fields. This collaboration will also be held through the implementation of research and publication as well as the organization of joint programs or activities between MOHE and MSEs.

KOTA BHARU BRANCH SWEETEN KPTM NAME IN INNOVATION COMPETITION ORGANIZED BY MARA

On 8th to 11th October 2012, the Design & Innovation Educational Institutions MARA 10th was held at the College of Higher Skills QA, Selangor Darul Ehsan (KKTM). The competition is jointly organized by the Technical and Skills Division Mara and Mara-Japan Industrial Institute (also known as KKTM QA). A total of 194 entries were contested project consisting of agencies like MARA MARA, GMI, IKM, KKTM, KM, MOE, MOHE, MJII, MRSM and UniKL. 8 categories of innovation projects has been contested at this time.

Innovation Unit Poly-Tech MARA College Kota Bharu, headed by Mr. Riza bin Seman, had sent two innovation projects to compete. The first project is a Clinical Information System (CIS) which has been developed by Science Lecturer, Mr. Mohd Azuraidi son Aaron, and the second project is 1MALAYSIA beds that have been developed by Agrotechnology Lecturer, Mr. Asraf Fizree bin Mohamad.
1MALAYSIA Beds Project has finished third in the Wood Working category / Civil Engineering, and the CIS also got third place in the category of Learning Kit / Trainer Kit / Interactive Learning. The two entries took home two bronze medals and certificates of participation.
