Minimum Requirements
Pass STPM (or equivalent) with Full Pass two (2) subjects including Maths AND CREDIT Mathematics, pass Bahasa Melayu and English at SPM AND additional eligible Pass * English. 
OR 
PASS Matriculation (or equivalent) with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 AND CREDIT Mathematics, pass Bahasa Melayu and English at SPM AND additional eligible Pass * English. 
OR 
PASS Diploma in a related field of Information Technology / Computing from Educational Institutions Colleges with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 and have to meet additional requirements * English Pass ( not only for Diploma conducted in English).
OR
Graduate Diploma of Education Institute Colleges with a minimum CGPA of 2:00 but less than 2.50 may be acceptable in certain internal assessment process. 
OR 
PASS Diploma in Information Technology related field / Computing is recognized by the Malaysian Government with a minimum CGPA of 2:50 AND additional eligible Pass * Language English (only for the Diploma not conducted in English). 
OR 
other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government. Conditions Additional Pass * English is a minimum MUET band 4.0 / IELTS minimum band 6.0 / TOEFL minimum score 500.
PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION:
The programme is focused on understanding the technology, security and management issues associated with computing in a network environment. It will look at the design and support of internet applications, managing distributed databases and designing suitable network architectures. A working knowledge of software design, user interfaces and information systems are key computer science foundation required for this programme, and on which the network designing and management skills and techniques will be built upon. Networking and computing in developing internet mobile applications for use with hand-held devices will also be covered as well as emphasis on the importance of security. Courses in this programme contain contents that will prepare students in social, ethical and professional aspects of a cooperative human environment such as the workplace.

Networking and Mobile Computing graduates will be computing profesionals with specialised skills in networking and mobile computing. Good graduates will also be equipped to engage in research to take up higher degree study. The skills are also applicable to a wider range of industries and end destinations. The skills in logical thinking, problem solving and the mix of employability-focused subject together with the combination of a structured pathway will equip graduates for a specialist career in many roles in business industry. Graduates from this programme will be apt working as network designers, network and distributed systems managers, internet technologist and computer security specialist in a wide range of both conventional and e-commerce organizations.
