Minimum Requirements	:	Passed SPM or equivalent with: THREE (3) credits in any subject INCLUDING Mathematics OR Pass etc. Certificate in Information Technology / Information Systems / Computer Science or other fields related from any universities / colleges that Other areas recognized by the Malaysian Government with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 OR other equivalent qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION:  The main purpose of this programme is to generate graduates with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to be effective and responsible IT practitioners within a business environment. It also provides students with contemporary knowledge and skills in IT and business to enable the students to understand the process of change and its impact to the technological world. This programme has been developed to meet the need for knowledge and skilled workers who are able to respond to a rapidly changing technological and commercial environment as well as the continuing demand from industry for graduates in information communication technology (ICT). It also gives the students the opportunity to relate academic experience to the actual working environment and prepare the students to become knowledge workers. Graduates from this diploma are eligible to continue their studies into Stage 2 of BA/BSc (Hons) in Business Information Technology degree programmes conducted by the Faculty of Engineering and Computing, Coventry University. Graduates may opt to take up this degree programme either at KPTM Kuala Lumpur or Coventry University. This diploma is also accredited by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA).
